Ｌｉｎｏｃｕｔ
In this project we were given the task to make an illustration using linocut. The first thing I had to do was to make sketches of ideas for the illustration, the theme was "room" and I ended up with a sketch of a cat sitting in a room with a window. before transfering the sketch over to the linoplate I had to mirror it to make sure it's not mirrored. the linoplate looked like this When making the linocut i carved away what would be white, what was left would be painted with black and would be the lines. this is what the finished product looked like.
